Microsoft Study Shows Counterfeit Software Often Full of Malware - Security Watch

The number of customers who unknowingly purchased counterfeit Microsoft products has ballooned over the last 2 years, according to the company. Over 150,000 such reports were received in that time, and the products the users bought was often riddled with malware.
